7/20 1130PM Commonwealth Ave TPD officers responded for a MV stuck on #MBTA tracks. 35y/o driver of a 07 Acura stated he was confused & lost ended up on tracks. Vehicle towed from scene, service was delayed. Driver cited. Tracks inspected/cleared.

7/13 1AM a 37y/o Revere man speeding through Revere w/a suspended license, not wearing a seatbelt in a 2017 Kia crashed into an #MBTA bus causing substantial damage. TPD to seek criminal complaints for driver, 2 bus passengers transported to hosp. for minor injuries.

7/10 5PM 2 knuckleheads (males) from Boston, 45&49 both unlicensed, used a U-Haul truck & got stuck to illegally dump trash along the MBTA's ROW in Somerville. Both men will be properly charged & TPD will seek restitution for cost of cleanup. Investigation ongoing.

7/11 1AM #MBTA Ashmont Station a Boston male armed with a 2x4 smashed out the windows of a T bus w/provocation & fled. The male was stopped near station by TPD, identified & transported to a hospital. Charges will be sought.

7/11 7PM #MBTA Wellington p-lot TPD responded for a 2 car MVA. 19y/o driver of Volkswagen was speeding through the lot & collided with 2021 Honda causing airbag deployment/damage. Honda driver 18y/o was unlicensed. Honda towed from scene no injuries reported. Both drivers cited.

7/8 7PM #MBTA Ashmont a large group of juveniles were causing a disturbance. TPD officers attempted calm the group & were met w/threats of physical harm & were assaulted by the group. 3 juveniles were placed into custody for various charges & transported to TPD HQ.

7/7 a squad of plainclothes Transit Police officers were deployed to #MBTA Alewife & Davis Stations to combat bicycle/electric scooter larcenies. Within a few hour period 3 adults were arrested in separate incidents for attempted larceny of bicycles/scooter.

7/5 430PM an observant TPD officer on patrol at #MBTA Nubian Sq interrupted an adult male who appeared to be engaged in drug activity. The male had warrants for his arrest to include Strangulation & Open Gross Lewdness. Alleged cocaine was seized & the male placed into custody.

7/1 6PM Blue Hill Ave/Washington Street unknown person using a BB gun fired at an #MBTA bus shattering the window. NO reported injuries. TPD to conduct follow up investigation. Bus service was delayed. Bus taken out of service for repairs.
