#NYC Thursday Evening Update - We turn hot and humid on Friday with an Air Quality Alert in place along with a Heat Advisory. Feels-like temperatures will be as hot as 104°. Strong to severe storms will also be possible by the afternoon.

Humidity quickly returns on Thursday with temperatures feeling closer to 90°. By Friday we're feeling like close to and even over 100°+ at times. Storm chances also return late Friday with some severe storms possible. Damaging winds would be the main threat. #NYCwx

Temperatures on Wednesday will definitely be warmer than today with all areas returning to the 80s. We'll see just a slight uptick in humidity but overall it will still be another comfortable day. Changes arrive Thursday! #NYCwx


In The Tropics: The @NHC_Atlantic now indicates a disturbance in the Gulf with a low (10%) chance of formation within the next 7 days.

The low humidity continues through the middle of the week before it starts to slowly increase on Wednesday. By Thursday the 90s return and we'll start to feel more like 100° by Friday. #NYCwx
