Region 1 Director Claudia Hochstein spoke at the Stop the Billionaire Giveaway event in Minneapolis and spoke about how the ultra-wealthy and giant corporations have rigged the tax code—at the expense of working families—and how their new budget bill would make things even worse.

Hundreds of MAPE and AFSCME members turned out to the negotiations site for a gauntlet that MMB members had to walk through to get to and from this meeting. If MMB is going to gut our health care, they are going to have to look us in the eyes while doing it!
Unboxing with Brad! We have strike boxes packed and ready for each Local. With the lowsy wage proposal, gutting our health care, trying to take away our PPL, plus MMB continually proposing to remove our step increases...best to be prepared!

Over 350 people turned out for our Virtual Rally! Members listened to the speeches and chanting at the rally in Minneapolis, plus were able to learn more about the push week process and get questions answered!
