Last year I sang Cyberfunk's praises. Its stellar soundtrack managed to capture the vibe of both JSR games. Even @Hideki_Naganuma himself contributed a couple of tracks. I'm glad I could grab that vinyl. Also, a Kaze no Notam CD with a Hiroshi Nagai cover. x.com/M0RD3N/status/…
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk rules. It really is the third JSR game in everything but the name, and it strikes an interesting balance between the gameplay elements of the original JSR and Future. Simply awesome. Also, it seems Reptile got autocorrected to Riptide in my previous post.
Comic book deliveries never stop! Another package arrived has arrived. Bonten Taro's Face Meat translated by @mangaberg, Cornelius: The Merry Life of a Wretched Dog by Marc Torices published by @DandQ and Eike Exner's Manga: A New History of Japanese Comics.

While looking for some Virtua Fighter info, I dug up a couple of Gamest Mooks. These would get me so hyped for the arcade versions back when you either got a visually inferior home port or had to wait years for the consoles to catch up to the tech. Model 2 and 3 truly blew minds.

Since I'm posting about comics, I meant to write something about titles I bought back in April, but for some reason I forgot, so here they are. A healthy dose of Andreas, something naughty, something nice, plus Igaguri with a t-shirt and Beautiful Monster published by Bubbles.

Four and a half years after its release, Paprium is finally playable under emulation. The hack seems to be taking an MSU1 approach, bypassing custom hardware and streaming in music from external mp3 files. It also requires a custom Genesis Plus GX core. x.com/M0RD3N/status/…
Holy shit, it's real... Man, when I got the order update email, I didn't quite believe this was happening, but here we are. All I want now is for this thing to work with my Wondermega.
I guess it's time to brag and make it official. Two weeks ago, during my vacation in Poland, I bought a Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle, and what's better to pair with the latest Nintendo tech if not a couple of Gamecube games? I bought some digital stuff as well, obviously.

Neo Geo, while being a real sprite powerhouse, rarely gets to experience love from the demoscene, but @therealh0ffman and The Twitch Elite guys are here to change that. Vaporous is the best Neo demo you'll see. Here's a video of it running on a Blast City. youtu.be/8hpXilXUjvs
