As per others, Liverpool have now agreed an initial £69m deal for Hugo Ekitike, with £10m more in add-ons. Full fee only reached with success for both player and club. Set to sign six-year contract and become seventh signing of the summer for #LFC.

No Federico Chiesa in Liverpool’s touring squad for Hong Kong and Japan. Jayden Danns also omitted after missing recent sessions. Unfortunate as had been set to travel after a strong start to pre-season work.

Melkamu Frauendorf (21 🇩🇪) has left Hannover 96 to join German fourth tier side Stuttgarter Kickers on a permanent deal. Frauendorf was released on the expiry of his contract at Liverpool last summer.

As per others, #LFC NOT in for Salford City striker Will Wright (17). Club looked into deal but decided not to pursue. Expect Wright will join another Premier League club as no doubt he has a lot of interest.
