The Kids Online Safety Act is the US equivalent of the EU's Digital Services Act and UK's Online Safety Act. If passed, it will lead to digital identity, total deanonymization of the internet, and massive censorship. It was reintroduced to Congress May 2025.

I think people are gonna have to get very used to the idea of defending censorship "because anime boob" very soon because the group that got payment processors to ban certain games picked Detroit: Become Human as their first target. They will not stop at the obviously taboo.
