I know this is bait, but we actually tried that sort of stuff in history, and it never worked out Because it isnt enough to know that there's an error, but *why* you made that error -- which is you have to figure out Missing ; might be just that, or a syntax error elsewhere
so if compilers know where's the error in your code, why dont they fix it by themselves?
I have one, it's great, but you can't really program with it imo. Good while watching videos, listening on meetings, reading shit, that type of stuff
thoughts on walking treadmills for standing desk?
If I had this much money, I am building a university asap lol
Can yall recommend me resources on how to make frontend? From a design perspective, I know HTMX perfectly well, I just suck at design I have a small educational side hustle that I'd like to launch, and literally all I am missing that I suck at is a non-dogshit frontend, hahaha
Gaming is so fucking back. Just like when we were children
Dude I had to whip out fucking PEN and PAPER to figure out where to go this game can't be real
We lost both the holy light and the comforting darkness within the span of few days
just heard Hulk Hogan died
I don't know who needs to hear this, but Bitcoin literally fixes this completely
Why do you poast so much, Lukáš? Because I have been syncing a BTC node for the last 11 hours for a work project, and my internet is dogshit
I felt like my brain was bleeding out of my ears when first learning Idris, but I got through it somewhat. Then APL, and I didn't get through it
Which programming made you feel like this when you first tried learning it
I hate literally everything about this thread. You wowed incompetent non-progammers with webslop parlor tricks. Clearly that makes 47 million developers obsolete because all we do is stitch together web slop technical demos
a single AI agent just made 47 million developers obsolete Lovable's new agent writes better code than 90% of human programmers, works 24/7, never quits, and costs less than a Netflix subscription 10 apps people built in under an hour: 1. voice controlled app with 0 buttons
Seems a lot of people don't know: This is underined behavior
You should do x = i++ + i++; It's a good thing to do. i = i++ + i++; Is even better
You can never win in a world where Occam exists and is used by approximately no one
show me a more beautiful concurrency model
In remembrance:
blessed with a double yolk. today is going to be a good day lads
Me: I need a “Haskell compiler” Glasgow: No problem, here’s GHC. Anything else? Me: You wouldn’t happen to have a way to permanently disfigure my enemies? Glasgow: You’re not going to believe this
I ordered all the parts needed to make that keyboard complete :) You still have time to sign up for the giveaway, just reply to the quoted tweet, retweet it and follow me The winner will be getting nice XDA profile keycaps and probably Holy Panda switches, possibly lubed by me

Typst is the best thing to happen to typesetting since LaTeX
Just rewrote my CV in typst (before it was LaTeX using overleaf) took me 15 minutes, and its waaaaaaaaay easier to write
