I'm hopeful Perri can keep us in games & shift momentum when we need it. At 27 I think he's only just entering his peak. (GK naturally peak later than outfield players) I pray this works 🙏🏿

Sunderland's summer is officially in overrated territory. They were considerably behind Leeds & Burnley last season. They have the worst manager of the promoted 3. If they manage more than 25 points, they've done well.
If no promoted team can stay up this season then the Premier League is now a closed shop. Last season Leeds + Burnley got over 100 points, whilst Sunderland have been seriously ambitious in the transfer market. If the Prem is a closed shop, the dream is dead for 72 clubs.

As a whole (at least the accounts I see on here) Leeds fans have done well not to get carried away with exceptions for the upcoming season. 17th is our champions league spots, it’s our League title. Finish 16th and the club should throw another parade lol.
As fans, we need to be very clear on what success means & not move the goalposts as the season unfolds. 17th should be the expectation, & 16th is the dream. Expecting higher than that means I'd like you to send me what you're smoking & lower than that is obviously a failure.
Quite clear he's very conservative as GK. It's why I had VMS ahead of him. However, he'll make the saves you expect him to make. Better to have a GK that's consistently good rather than occasionally great. #lufc
