Two new contemporary Christian books. A Father's Love: an in depth study into the Prodigal Son. Fishing with the Father: exploring Jesus' words, 'Come, follow me and I will send you out to fish for people' - comparing Christians and fishermen.
'A bad hunter chases. A good hunter waits.' Christians need to be 'good hunters' & bide their time, keeping vigilant, because most people are just waiting for a hand to reach out, and once it does, they'll reach right back.

Quite pleased with my runner beans. 1st time in my garden. Wont do dwarf beans again, they're rubbish. Green beans below are from another part of the garden - cobra.

The fishermen know that the sea is dangerous and the storm terrible, but they have never found these dangers sufficient remaining for remaining ashore - Van Gogh. Just like people who follow Christ.

John Macarthur was one of the greatest teachers of the Bible of this generation. His impact on my life has & is significant. A lion of man in terms of faith & a bright light for the Lord. Today the world is a little darker. I'm utterly heartbroken. He will be sorely missed. 💔💔
