They were initially displaced to the village of al-Rama, while 60 people, along with the priest, were allowed to remain in Iqrit. Six months later, they too were expelled, and the village was blown up with dynamite and aerial bombs .
On Christmas day in 1951, the Israeli Occupation Forces destroyed Iqrit, a Christian Palestinian village in the north. The IOF destroyed it in response to an Israeli Supreme Court ruling allowing the Palestinians who were forcibly expelled in 1948 to return their homes in Iqrit.

شهيد باقري رو خيلي دوست داشتم. شايد به خاطر داستان هايي كه ق. از او و برادرش برايم مي گفت. از نبودنش حس غم و خشمِ عظيمي مي كنم. ولي بعد به خودم مي گم كجاي دنيا، از دست دادنِ يك شخصيتِ نظامي، مي تونه طوري در انسان ها سوگ و سوز به وجود بياره كه انگار عموي عزيزي رو از دست دادن؟

مجروحان بمباران اسرائیل که می‌آورند با وجود اصابت شدید خون‌ریزی کمتر از معمول دارند. یکی از پزشکان در پاسخ به من گفت گرسنگی شدید به کاهش پلاکت خون و مایعات بدن منجر میشه که جریان خون رو کاهش میده اما فرد زخمی رو در معرض خطر بیشتر وخامت سریع و مرگ ناگهانی طی چند دقیقه قراره میده.
لاحظت أن الجرحى القادمين من القصف الإسرائيلي ينزفون دمًا أقل رغم خطورة إصاباتهم. وعندما سألت أحد الأطباء أخبرني أن الجوع الشديد يؤدي إلى انخفاض الصفائح الدموية وسوائل الجسم، ما يُضعف الدورة الدموية ويقلل النزيف لكنه يجعل المصاب أكثر عرضة لانهيار سريع وموت مفاجئ خلال دقائق.
وقتي از "رسانه" ي غربي صحبت مي كنيد، بايد نقطه ي اشتراك و تمايزش رو با صنعت سرگرمي و دستگاه تبليغاتيِ حاكميتي (خصوصي و دولتي) رو مشخص كنيد. واگرنه معلوم نيست داريد راجع به چي صحبت مي كنيد.
