#RPU stopped this van on the A1 near Grantham. Driver strategically putting the vehicle in gear when stopped to try and hide the lack of a handbrake. The driver couldn't hide the pool of oil though. Driver issued TOR and vehicle prohibited.

#RPU officers stopped this Tranit weaving up the A1 near Grantham towing a caravan twice its size. Almost 2 tonnes over train weight and no tax. Driver reported for summons for multiple offences. When towing, always check the plated weight of your vehicle.

#RPU Stopped a driver in #BIRCHWOOD and the driver provided a roadside reading of 97ug of alcohol - arrested and driver FTP in custody. When leaving the police station, stopped this driver for excess speed in #LINCOLN who then tested positive for Cannabis - arrested. #Fatal5

#RPU Intercepted this debacle in #SPALDING. Passenger was holding the loose guttering, as it was impeding the drivers view and had already cracked the windscreen. Wow, we can’t make this stuff up. No consideration for other road users safety. Driver reported and load removed.

Guess why this vehicle was stopped today by #RPU in Boston. Driver claimed it had fallen off but said it with a wry smile as they tried to 'Dodge' receiving a ticket. Driver issued TOR for failing to display a vrm.

#RPU stopped another co-part classic on the A1 near Grantham. Online company reviews for car transport undermined drivers claim both cars were for personal use. Driver issued GFPN and vehicle immobilised for 11 hours.
