At an event in DC this evening, the 56th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing, Purdue University announces a new Neil Armstrong Space Prize to be awarded starting next year to honor innovation, discovery and human achievement in spaceflight.
The Neil Armstrong Space Prize is to be the premier global honor in space advancement, recognizing three categories of excellence in the field: innovation, discovery and human achievement. The inaugural awards will be presented in 2026. purdue.university/4nZecsn
