I got @getclearspace and so did my 19 year old son. It’s transformative. After having it a month I adjusted my settings because my social media use has become so much more intentional and is taking up so much less time. My son is so much happier and is reading a ton.

I'm not gonna lie. I homeschooled because I wanted my kids to get enough sleep and read books. It was super chill - you might call it 'unschooling.' Could I have done way more? Yes. Were they still light years ahead of 95% of their classmates at the public school? Also yes.
Homeschooling is not the exclusive mission, the restoration of the Family and the improvement of the parent/child relationship is the mission - homeschooling is the vehicle for that purpose. The value added in this process just so happens to be a better education.
Wrestling is inherently intimate. You cannot wrestle a person without being close to them, & this truth has shaped how I relate to God. We live in a culture that relies on materialism, comfort, & easy spiritual answers to avoid that wrestling. But we sacrifice depth as a result.
Re: curse of childrearing
Childrearing is drudgery sometimes, but it is fun and rewarding and beautiful too. Many women choose to stay at home to raise their kids, I don’t think they see it as a ‘curse’, despite drudgery. For many, it is a privilege and a joy.
