This book started so many discussions about the sea, The children knew what we could do straight away. They love recycling and reusing. 🎣🐟🐠🐢♻️
I know this was only the temperature inside the car but with no air con it was not a fun drive home 🥵

Today was a day full of new experiences. We all made a passport and received a boarding pass. Then we checked in to Reception Airways and flew abroad to the beach. It was a busy day but we managed to fly home before hometime. #EYFS
Started to set up for a seaside day on Monday. We will all board the plane before going to the beach. We will set up the barefoot walk and paddling pools on Monday. It’s going to be fun ☀️ Have a good weekend everyone.
Last week we read the story ‘The day the crayons quit’. We told them the toys had quit as they were not being put away. Today one of our boys said that he had ‘sad news’ at the craft table. I loved his letter! The sequins quitted…all over the floor 😂
Happy Friday everyone. I had some very proud boys who wanted to share their zoo 🦓 🦒 🐘 They even tidied it away too. Hurray 🤩

We had the best day at the runway centre at Manchester airport yesterday. I highly recommend it as a visit for your class. It was perfect for our Reception children’s first big day out. ✈️
It’s been a week of learning how to use our rekenreks. I love summer 2 for seeing just how much knowledge of number the children have gained 💕 #EYFS

The children loved investigating what the dinosaurs ate! The poop was a hit! Afterwards I told them how I made it before they played with it 😀 🤎
The sun is back out again ☀️ I am enjoying the wildlife in the garden…..and baking dinosaur poo of course 😂
The children loved finding the fossils, making dioramas for our dinosaur museum and becoming dinosaurs. The damp weather and wet sand has made the fossils a little soggy though. 🦖 ☔️
