The Harrier did not disappoint during its practice demo, but the F-35B wasn’t about to let it steal the spotlight. While the Harrier hovered, the F-35B came roaring through with some serious flair. Who says jets don’t have a little drama?
Another day, another Italian beach… with jets overhead. Jesolo Air Show weekend is off to an epic start: F-35B and Italian Navy Harrier flybys before the show even began? Yes, please! Now it’s all about salty air, warm sun, and a front-row seat to the sea. La dolce vita,…
The first time I visited Aviano Air Base back in 2023, it was quiet. Most of the jets were off participating in exercises. This trip to Italy in June 2025? A whole different story. There was plenty of photo opportunities, including a few surprise visitors, like this C-5 Galaxy…

Okay, I’ll bite. Hey @grok, who was the most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was.
I haven’t been able to do much spotting this month but KP has made it out there! Check out these shots he got.
Mission Accomplished!!! The final countdown for delivery Japan’s first carrier based aircraft since World War 2 begins. Here is all 4 of the JASDF’s first 4 F-35B. The second one is 202. 🇺🇸🇯🇵 I will put a google drive link in the comments for photos for anyone to enjoy.
A birthday with some of my favorite things: sushi and family, and the best gift? My husband coming home a day early!

A shot I could only dream of. Devil Dog, the B-25, takes off into a glowing July 4th sunset at the air show in Athens, Texas. What catches your eye first?

Hello there EMBER44. It’s always nice when an E-3 flies over your house.

So NASA802 came with their own ground crew. Also, it took that tired old G-III three and a half evers to finally rotate. I was beginning to wonder. They must be really topped off on fuel and all the gear that goes with that UAVSAR pod of theirs must be heavy.
I don’t think Texas weather knows what it’s doing right now. But it sure is pretty.
Still in full Osprey mode, when Randy Ball comes tearing in with not one, but two MiG-17s. Naturally, I had the absolute wrong settings dialed in, because why not shoot fast jets at 1/125, right? I should’ve ended up with a glorious blur of jet-shaped smears, but somehow, this…
What can you find at the bottom of a rainbow? Apparently, an MV-22 Osprey from VMM-163 “Evil Eyes”! Forget gold, this is the kind of treasure I’m after. Easily my best Osprey shot to date.
Not quite googly eyes, but this Osprey does have this.
They need googly eyes 👀

Last night we celebrated the 4th of July in the best way possible—an air show at golden hour. 🇺🇸✈️ A rain delay cut the schedule short but gave us something even better: dramatic vapor trails and glowing skies. We had the Viper Demo Team flying the YF-16, Randy Ball with not…
Fireworks night in the neighborhood. Last year brought some unexpected heat, literally. Here’s to a show that ends with applause, not fire trucks.
Mission accomplished: finally spotted the ‘Bengals’ jet flying with the VMFA-112 Cowboys. Jet lag’s not so bad when it means catching Legacy Hornets first thing in the morning.
I finally had a chance to edit the new video from yesterday and wow. When I saw the Harrier coming in with gear down, I got goosebumps. I knew I was about to witness one more hover, maybe even my last with retirement on the horizon. Then it stopped right in front of us. My jaw…

Thanks for the tip! really enjoyed the show
