A reminder to stay #WeatherAware and take extra care if travelling in the torrential rain and thunderstorms expected in parts of London today. We often see a rise in 999 calls about traffic collisions and slips / falls during adverse weather.

There is an amber thunderstorm warning for London between 4am and 11am tomorrow. This weather can trigger symptoms in those with lung conditions like asthma. If the weather makes your symptoms worse and you need to use your inhaler more, you should contact NHS 111.

With @metoffice warnings issued for thunderstorms in London this weekend, please take extra care when travelling. We see a rise in 999 calls about breathing difficulties during this type of weather so remember to carry your inhaler / any medication you use.
