IMO contract reform we should be fighting for: 1- OOH pay should start from 5pm (Currently it starts from 7pm?!) 2-Full time should = 40 hrs (like everyone else in the NHS) Working 40 hrs should not be LTFT with capped AL this is such a scam 3-Exam & royal collage fees paid

Controversial but I miss having fixed leave. On my last rotation I knew where I stood and could look forward to well spaced out blocks of leave. I could arrange swaps if needed. Now I find myself begging for swaps for mandatory teaching, doing complex maths for 1 day of A/L etc

It’s been two years since I waived my media anonymity following my rape case. I was sick of hearing about that “promising young man” and not THIS promising young woman. HE was the “talented athlete” whose medical career was ruined, I was just “victim”… I needed to reclaim me.

Ridiculous. Unless they can guarantee those staff will get their lunch break and won't be disturbed at all then breaks need to be paid

This isn't winter, this isn't one A&E, this isn't one system. It's everywhere, and it is entirely avoidable by prioritising safe & dignified emergency care. Stop blaming patients and driving "efficiency" and "redirection" - whole system approach is not just the front door...

From locum life picking up shifts that are convenient to me to the next 6 months of my life being dictated by a series of numbers and letters. Cannae wait.
