A hallmark of human intelligence is the capacity for rapid adaptation, solving new problems quickly under novel and unfamiliar conditions. How can we build machines to do so? In our new preprint, we propose that any general intelligence system must have an adaptive world model,…

Math is cool, but human intelligence is never about math. Humans were never evolved to be good at math or any symbolic computation. The challenge for any species, including artificial ones, is to survive in the open world. And math problems are pretty orthogonal to that.
1/N I’m excited to share that our latest @OpenAI experimental reasoning LLM has achieved a longstanding grand challenge in AI: gold medal-level performance on the world’s most prestigious math competition—the International Math Olympiad (IMO).
Very excited about ARC-3!
Today, we're announcing a preview of ARC-AGI-3, the Interactive Reasoning Benchmark with the widest gap between easy for humans and hard for AI We’re releasing: * 3 games (environments) * $10K agent contest * AI agents API Starting scores - Frontier AI: 0%, Humans: 100%
How do people reason while still staying coherent – as if they have an internal ‘world model’ for situations they’ve never encountered? A new paper on open-world cognition (preview at the world models workshop at #ICML2025!)
We’re proud to announce the launch of AutumnBench, an open-source benchmark developed on our Autumn platform. This benchmark, led by our MARA team, provides a novel platform for evaluating world modeling and causal reasoning in both human and artificial intelligence.
World Simulator, reimagined — now alive with humans, robots, and their vibrant society unfolding in 3D real-world geospatial scenes across the globe! 🚀 One day soon, humans and robots will co-exist in the same world. To prepare, we must address: 1️⃣ How can robots cooperate or…
The #RSS2025 Workshop on Continual Robot Learning from Humans is happening on June 21. We have an amazing lineup of speakers discussing how we can enable robots to acquire new skills and knowledge from humans continuously. Join us in person and on Zoom (info on our website)!
