I will never forget how so many in the west expressed horror about a fabricated story about 40 beheaded Israeli babies while ignoring the slaughter of thousands of Palestinian fetuses, babies and children.

Under international criminal law, media institutions can be held liable for complicity by omission, which includes failing to accurately report on the scale and nature of atrocities, or focusing on narratives that distract from the reality of the violence.

This mother, like almost every mother in Gaza, had been searching for food for her hungry children. An Israeli air strike killed them. If the world had any morality left, these screams would stop the monsters who have been starving and slaughtering children.

We have been watching children literally breathe their last breaths on our phones for almost two years. When will it stop? Or will we simply watch until there are no more Palestinian children left?

Butchering babies, day in and day out. Pure evil.

Hundreds of high-profile Western journalists are complicit. And, here's the thing, many of them genuinely believe that all they're doing is being objective. After 25 years in this business, I know the hubris well.

If professional objectivity means journalists can't speak out about Israel starving a million children in Gaza, can they at least speak out about the starving of their fellow journalists?

People are watching a system that is using mass starvation on tens of thousands of children in Gaza while severely punishing those protesting it and leadership of the nominally liberal party say absolutely nothing about it or openly cheerleads it.

I don't even know why the IDF bothers to put out statements. Why say you fired "warning shots" if 80 people were killed? Is anyone in the world persuaded by this?

I used to worry about my colleagues in Gaza being killed by Israeli drone strikes or bombing or sniper shots. Now I also fear they will starve to death. Journalists, why are you so silent about this? Where is your humanity?

Gaza is the graveyard of human rights

We gave a close read to the new 80-page Israeli report on 10/7 sexual violence. What we found is that rather than present new evidence, it spends most of its time arguing that the current evidentiary standards are actually too rigorous. Incredible turn to take. Some excerpts:
