Been out with @MyNottingham housing colleagues having a look at the housing stock in Wollaton & the local park which is need of some TLC! We will keep pushing to get this park upgraded.

Wishing everyone a fantastic, if slightly wet, Splendour! ☔️ 🌧️

Useful doorstep surgery/canvass session tonight in the ward - Eton Grove, Wollaton Rd slip rd, Ancaster & part of Harrow Rd. Good feedback for the local Cllrs on Lime Bikes, the parking scheme, overhanging trees and some national issues too. We will continue to listen & act.

My monthly Cllr surgery is here today at 11-00 to 12-00. Drop in, no appt needed. If you have an issue with anything in Wollaton or across the City I’ll try to help. Also happy to talk football & cricket if you just want a chat!
Thank you to the @Sheriff_Nottm for officially opening our sensory garden on Thursday. Proud of what all our volunteers have achieved and I know many enjoyed the garden this weekend as part of the Wollaton community festival.😀
…on to Wollaton Park for the Community Festival where I caught up with local councillors @Sajidah, @Sheriff_Nottm and @Battlemuch4WW in the magnificent walled garden, transformed by local volunteers. The new sensory garden is looking great.
Members of the community have done a sterling job on creating the new sensory garden. Find out more 👇🏽 nottinghampost.com/news/local-new…
There are some fantastic activities on offer as part of Wollaton Community Festival. From Tai Chi and history talks to scouts activities and birdwatching. Why not have a go this weekend! 🌞

Good to see the original outer wall repaired now. Well done @MyNottingham @WollatonHall

Lovely day to be out chatting to residents in Wollaton alongside local councillors @Sajidah & @Sheriff_Nottm with help from Nayab & Angharad. Local residents are delighted that Wollaton Rd has been resurfaced thanks to @MyNottingham & extra investment from our Labour government
Wollaton Councillors, @sajidah @Sheriff_Nottm & MP @LilianGreenwood & the Labour team were out & about today speaking to local residents & supporting them with issues. We got a big 👍 for 🛣️ repairs to W’ton Rd 🧱 fixing the wall on W’ton Rd 🕳️ upcoming repairs to Arleston Dr
This crater (giant pothole) is at the car park at Crown Island shops. Apparently no one knows who owns the car park or if they do can’t get hold of them. So it just gets bigger and bigger. Maybe make it into a pond? Or just find the owner and make them take action @MyNottingham

We know we have issues (as do most areas) with parking problems, especially around schools & on big event days @WollatonHall - come and meet the team who deal with it.

Reminder that the stretch of Wollaton Road from the Rodney to the Park is closed for a few days for a full road resurface, which we as Cllrs pushed for alongside Arleston Drive which will be done in the school summer holidays.

Wollaton West councillors were out today with our fantastic CPO Team reporting issues in the area and speaking to residents. We are always here to support. Good to seek work on rebuilding the wall on the slip road along Wollaton Rd is underway. 🧱

🌿‘A volunteer project like no other’: How Wollaton Park’s abandoned walled garden became an oasis at city landmark🌿 Volunteers from the Walled Garden project took me for a look around today. It is magnificent. 📝Here's how it came to be: nottstv.com/a-volunteer-pr…
After a fair bit of chasing up by our local Cllrs it’s great to see the work starting to rebuild the wall on Wollaton Road. Well done @MyNottingham for getting this done.
