The Labour Muslim Network has written to @YvetteCooperMP following reports of police officers threatening Palestine protesters with arrest. Holding a Palestinian flag, condemning the ongoing genocide and calling for freedom for Gaza is not illegal. This is about our democracy.

Anti-Palestinian racism is rife - both in Britain and around the world. It is time we call it what it is and challenge it head on.

9 more have been killed in Gaza by malnutrition in the last 24 hours. This is a crisis. A total of 122 people, including 83 children, have died because of a lack of food

101 people, including 80 children, have died as a result of malnutrition in Gaza. 33 have died, including 12 children, just in the last 48 hours as a result of malnutrition. Israeli forces continue to deny basic supplies to Gaza's civilian population.

Following a meeting with representatives from our Muslim communities in Haringey, Bibi Khan and I have written to the Foreign Secretary calling for: - Recognition of a Palestinian state - An end to arms sales to Israel Our communities are urging the government to step up.
