The result of these proposed Medicaid cuts will be devastating – lives will be lost, and state economies will suffer greatly. Congress, there is simply too much to lose for the millions that rely on Medicaid to prevent, detect, treat and survive cancer.
The House Energy & Commerce Committee released a proposal that would slash #Medicaid funding by $715 billion, with an estimated 8.6 million people losing coverage with no access to affordable health insurance options. We urge members to reject these cuts. fightcancer.org/releases/house…

A major win today in reducing the cancer burden! Any out-of-pocket costs can be a deterrent to accessing proven cancer screening which can be the difference between life and death.
In a victory for the fight against cancer, the Supreme Court upheld the ACA's provision that requires most private insurers cover lifesaving preventive care services without cost sharing. ACS CAN led 32 partner organizations in applauding the decision: fightcancer.org/releases/more-…
