Allowing companies to update software was a mistake

Thanks to everyone in Brooklyn who helped us collect 37 laptops and 2 phones for the old laptop drive! Next up: our fix-a-thon to refurbish these laptops and keep them out of the landfill due to @Microsoft's expiration of #Windows10.

✅ A few years ago, New York became the first state in the nation to enact my Right to Repair law. Last night, the State Senate passed my legislation extending the Right to Repair to wheelchair users under the Consumer Wheelchair Repair Bill of Rights Act.
