Chris Paul is coming home. @LAClippersFilm, @colehoops, & Shap talk about CP3, Bradley Beal, this now fully realized roster, & what it means for expectations going forward. Plus, the guys talk about their Summer League takeaways. Listen: spreaker.com/episode/the-po…
Tribe called bench era Clippers, with the 17 game win streak, CP3 spoke about this element with Grant Hill being on the team. That element is real IMO That team went on to win 56 games before Blake broke his ankle in practice in the playoffs (unbelievable to this day 😂)
When a legend is in your locker room and says ‘this is it — I’m done after this year’ that air of finality, brings with it an extra layer of motivation for the others in the locker room which helps get you through 82 games. That’s going to help the LA Clippers locker room w/CP3

What benefit of the doubt? Nobody’s picking the clippers nobody saying kawhi is top 10 or anything what do u mean
Why the hell do we need to hear what the Joe Budden Podcast has to say about the WNBA man ‘Content’ is out of control
Joe and Ish argue over WNBA players' demands for a pay raise. Joe supports the players getting higher salaries, while Ish argues that the league is operating at a loss, comparing it to asking for a raise if the podcast was losing money.
ICYMI: The crew recapped a very eventful July for LAC, topped off by the return of Chris Paul. Plus, they give final Summer League takes.

2003 version of Kobe was the best version of Kobe and him with 4-out and 5-out spacing would be hilarious.
Kobe Bryant’s Insane 4th Quarter takeover in Game 6 against Minnesota in 2003, pretty much putting a close game on ice within a few minutes

The Clippers FO has been so sharp that they're making you forget that this is a franchise very much in transition out of the Kawhi / PG era with essentially clean books in 26' and especially in 27.'
i think that criticism would only be fair if they were cashing in real long term assets or sacrificing flexibility to bring these guys in, but they aren’t so who cares.
I will be very interested to hear old head convo again if Al Horford/Gary Payton II goes to Golden State because if that happens Curry older than Harden Butler older than Leonard Green older than Bogdanovic Hield older than Beal Horford older than Lopez Payton older than Dunn
You go into these transaction cycles with ideas on how you want them to play out, but shit..there isn't a store where you can just freely grab your ideal players from ya know? If your goal is to get better, then you try and do so and if it means older players for now? So be it
In the NBA, you rarely get the chance to choose *how* you get better, and that's what's being lost in the Clippers ageism convo. Like, they didn't set out to be the oldest team ever but are you saying no to a still good Brook Lopez (Instead of Bamba, Kai Jones) because he's old?

Windy also added: "Harden is on board with this signing. They went to him with it first"
Windy: "From what I understand he's not gonna have guaranteed playing time. There are going to be nights where James Harden and their backup Kris Dunn get the minutes at point guard and Chris Paul might not play at all...he has understood that"
