This afternoon at Torrance Beach, @lacolifeguards responded to a stranded juvenile dolphin. Upon arrival, lifeguards assessed the situation and took immediate action to help stabilize the dolphin, keeping it hydrated, and ensure it was properly transferred to @MMCCLA

At the 7/22 Board of Supervisors meeting, there will be a public hearing on the #LACounty ordinance to implement state-mandated changes to the 2025 FHSZ Maps for local areas. These maps are crucial for public safety & community preparedness.
#DevilFire Angeles NF & Los Angeles County firefighters are working a small fire south of the Devil’s Punchbowel County Park. The park is located south of the Valyermo community. The fire is reported to be 1/4 acre in grass with a slow rate of spread.
