When I get into the NLE discourse with industry peeps it makes me wish I wasn't anon for the networking opportunities, but then I remember there's some scary people on this app and I should probably stay anon. ...but maybe if you need a post workflow consultant or AE, DM me?

PEAK INCOMING - AUGUST 21! Kill the Music is one of the indie games I'm most looking forward to this year. The blend of the action, sound effects, music, and even the UI is phenomenal. This trailer doesn't do the game justice, check out the demo if you like rhythm games!
RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCEMENT: August 21st 2025 Kill The Music is a Rhythm Action Roguelite about defeating hordes of enemies with musical instruments.

Yeah sure Final Fantasy has never had story problems if you don't count 12, 13, 14, and 15. Just don't count the last decade of games!
This is bait. Final Fantasy has never had story problems. If you want to talking pacing, gameplay mechanics, and technical stuff. Ya, okay let’s do that. But story?? Like all kotaku trash, don’t bother with the click. It’s a video game tabloid.
Katanaut from @VoidmawGames proves that the best way to deal with cosmic horror is with a sharp sword and excellent reflexes. Dodge, slash, and unleash powerful abilities while exploring a space station that's a cosmic horror buffet. Demo is on Steam. store.steampowered.com/app/3032830/Ka…
I don't pay attention to Pokemon discourse at all anymore but it's crazy to me that there is such an anti-Gen 2 campaign going on when, for decades, the fans were in agreement that Gen 2 was one of the best gens. I'm guessing it's the younger generation that never played them.
the gaslighting of Johto's Pokemon distribution needs to be studied man NOBODY has played these games with their fucking eyes open
someone's got to tame whats onboard this space station :) #indiegame #gamedev #pixelart #wishlistwednesday
i dont understand why players demand key rebinds. i’m the developer you think i made a whole fucking game and put the buttons in the wrong spot???? idiot
Just wait. First it is volume. Then resolution. Then they have the gall to demand rebinding.
Not all artist in FaB are comfortable with traditional physical painting at all. I am lucky enough to own a few physical originals for the game. Some others are willing to create 1 of 1 repaints after the card art is published though. Thus: Oasis Respite by @MateuszWArt 😍
I never played the original Dissidia games but man this looks so bad. Most of this clip is just flying around and grunting. The amount of time where the two fighters are actually engaged in combat is minimal.
I was reminiscing the good memories playing Dissidia 012 on my PSP. We used to be a society

I don't know what was going on yesterday but it's 7am in Los Angeles right now and traffic is already back to its usual horrendous self.
Just took an Uber from LAX to Irvine. No traffic slowdowns on the entire ride. Just a coincidence, I’m sure
If you are interested in MMO tech, you need to be paying attention to @ReaperActualDPS. They have the talent and vision to crack the code on something really big here. I'm not really an FPS guy but this kind of engineering can have massive implications if done well.
I 100% agree with this. Now imagine being a supporter of a modder who dreams up an entirely new even cooler gameplay space built within our world. This is how MOBAs started for example. The use case we have in mind is an ecosystem where creators can truly prosper from…
A lot of people who are interacting with Smedley's posts today don't understand his history. The man is one of the visionaries who co-founded Verant. Maybe he needs to earn cred with the new generation, but pay attention. Smedley changed the industry once, he could do it again.
Yes they have. Absolutely. That’s not how we are using it. We are using it to build a UGC ecosystem where players can make the same things we can. The technology is awesome and powerfu if used right. If it’s used to make a game where the entire point of the game is to farm things…
