Breaks my heart to see how close Bruce and Dick were during the golden/silver age and how we never see him being that cheer-spirited ever again with a Robin. Reading chronologically makes you notice how increasingly bitter Bruce gets

The Dark Knight Returns is the first post-crisis Batman Classic I'm gonna read since it's the one that released the earliest. I don't know what to expect, but based on Scott Snyder's comments about it in his classes, I'm excited
