At #UNOC3, 🇫🇴 Fisheries Minister Jóhan Christiansen emphasised ocean research as essential to global cooperation and sustainable use of marine resources - a top priority during the @KoDArctic Chairship. In May 2026, the Faroes will host a major #UArctic ocean-focused conference.
As a large part of the Arctic is covered by ocean, life in the Arctic is deeply dependent on the health of its marine environment, explains Dr. Larsen from the Faroe Marine Research Institute. The oceans are therefore a priority during the Kingdom of Denmark Chairship 🌊
