Are you a spicy dill garlic pickle person? Our cucumbers are coming in rapidly now and so I find myself smashing garlic, picking dill, making pickling brine almost every day. You may recall I mentioned a secret ingredient -- and it's not the Thai dried peppers. :) Any guesses?
Making your own pickles is an easy way to cut one more dependency on the grocery stores where a jar can cost $$$. It's easier thank you may know! Even if you buy picklers from your local farmer, it still pencils out - and you know exactly what is in that mason jar!
