I'm a guy with too many thoughts and never enough paper. Such is life
"Miss Helier paused slightly out of breath, and it was borne in upon her audience that the outside of Jane's charming head was distinctly superior to the inside." Agatha Christies genteel way of informing us that a character is pretty but dim.
Found this in a copy of the 1928 Prayer Book. Obviously Joyson-Hicks signs off in his capacity as Home Secretary and Wales is mentioned because the first paragraph predates disestablishment. But does anyone know why Berwick upon Tweed is mentioned separately?

Firstly I would have thought Ben's voice would be deeper. Secondly why are the producers so keen to avoid showcasing Reeds powers. We literally get a split second blink and you miss look here. Why aren't they showing him stretching?
The new trailer for ‘THE FANTASTIC FOUR’ has been released. In theaters on July 25.
Your regular reminder that when it comes to adaptions of the Wind in the Willows I don't understand why Toad becomes the breakout character. He's arrogant, rude and a constant trial to his friends. Why isn't the focus Mole? He's kind, compassionate, sensible and right there.
