Another successful partnership day of action targeting those who commit waste crime offences within the Garden of England. DW #KeepKentClean
Last week we took part in a multi-partnership day of action stopping and checking waste carrying vehicles with @DVSAgovuk , @KentPoliceRural and @SwaleCouncil. Vehicle and driver offences were identified, and two vehicles were seized as a result.

This Land Rover failed to stop last night, following reports of hare coursing in #Lenham evading patrols Unfortunately for the owner, the team tracked down and seized the vehicle today and will be dealing with the driver for various offences. #WhoIsHuntingWho #OpGalileo RH
Busy week for the team so far, on Monday we worked alongside CID and arrested 3 males in #Canterbury for rogue trading offences committed against vulnerable residents across Kent. On Tuesday we attended a number of calls to hare coursing across rural #Ashford #OpGalileo RH

The team arrested a male and female yesterday in #Faversham, following the theft of a caravan in #Leysdown last week. We also seized the vehicle used to steal the caravan. Please register your caravans and consider installing a tracking system and/or physical security. RH

The team have tracked down and arrested 2 males in #London, following the theft of metal from a farm in #Lenham this morning. We have also recovered stolen property and seized their van. The team will continue to cross borders to track down those who commit crime in Kent. RH
The team located and seized their second stolen caravan of the shift late yesterday, after making enquiries on a plot of land in #Faversham Attempts had been made to change the identity, however the training provided by @CRiSDatabase enabled us to quickly ID it. #2for1 RH
As part of our ongoing drive to tackle the theft of caravans, plant and farm machinery, we have conducted numerous checks across Kent today. Legit owners were given crime prevention advice, whereas the male stopped with a stolen caravan won a free nights stay in custody. RH
Following excellent training given by @CRiSDatabase yesterday to the whole team, we attended #Whitstable this morning to check a number of caravans. 1 of the caravans was confirmed stolen from Barnsley, 2 people were arrested for theft offences and the caravan was recovered. RH

We have worked with @NCATT_UKPolice @NaVCIS_UK and @portdoverpolice again to tackle the movement of stolen plant machinery and farm equipment out of the UK into Europe. During 2 shifts, we have arrested 2 males, recovered 2 stolen vehicles and obtained significant intel. RH

RTF patrolled area in Dover experiencing issues with off road bikes. 2 Adults and Children with 4 Quad Bikes were dealt with. If you cause a nuisance by off roading without the landowner's permission you could lose your Vehicle, your Licence and could face Prosecution. DR
Kent Police Rural Team supported a multi agency event at Ramsgate explaining the importance of respecting marine mammals and seabirds that reside on Kent's amazing coastline and explaining the legislation that protects them. DR
