Congrats to Neale Boyle, aka Mr. Allentown, for getting another title in his hometown. One of my great memories of the early part of my career was covering Neale, Mike Peapos & Eddie McCaffrey & Co. winning a state title with @ACCHSVikings in 1984.
MONEY MALVERN Malvern Prep makes it two titles in three years at @A_TownThrowDown with a 56-37 win over Pocono Mountain West behind 20 points from Beast of the Tournament Nick Harken. Another year of exciting action comes to an end in Allentown! Thanks for following along!

AUDENRIED WINS IT Dieruff’s dramatic run to the title game comes to an end as Audenried wins 53-27 with a dominant performance. Nasiaah Russell was named tournament MVP with 16 points in the championship. A full story will follow later.
LEO THE LION Actually Leo Dauberman is a North Parkland Legion Buffalo. His 2-run, 2-out single in the bottom of the 6th was deciding blow in a 2-1 win over Bristol in the American Legion state tournament in Erie. Amazing run continues for the Lehigh Valley League champs.

ANOTHER EXECUTIVE DECISION Rain has forced all of the games indoors today at the @A_TownThrowDown with varsity games going to @EEACSBasketball and the youth and JV to ESYC. This could change later, but for now everything is on the East Side.

TJ LAWRENCE The multi-sport star showed off his athleticism again in the slam-dunk competition. He plays basketball for @BoysParkland today and then it’s off to football.
SLAM DUNK CONTEST As usual the Darryl Dawkins Memorial Slam Dunk competition delivered a huge crowd and brought Saturday Night alive at Cedar Beach. @BoysParkland’s @tjlawrence263 was the winner.

BUFFALOES START STATES WITH A WIN! @NParklandSrLeg beats Stripes & Strikes (Hazelton) 2-1 in the opening game of the state tournament. Nate Unger pitched into the 5th & made a diving grab of a bunt to turn two. Steven Sepko finished it off on the mound for the save!
