Rivers carry #life & #unity. River Kimengelia - Noolturesh flows from Tanzania 🇹🇿 into Kenya 🇰🇪, it reminds us that water knows no borders. It connects nations, fosters peace, & calls for shared stewardship. Let’s protect what connects us. #JourneyOfWater #Voices4Rivers #Sdg6

A healthy river means a healthier future for us all. Let’s together make Rivers #Drinkable, #Fishable, #Swimmable and #Liveable. #Sdg6 #JourneyOfWater2025 #TunzaMitoBoreshaMaisha #Voices4Rivers
Day 1 of the Journey of Water kicked off with great pomp and colour!. At exactly 12PM, the symbolic tracing of River Kimengelia–Noolturesh was officially flagged off, marking the beginning of a remarkable 3-day journey following the river's path to where it empties its waters.

Just 1️⃣ day left—get ready to dive into the incredible journey of water along River Kimengelia - Noolturesh, where every drop tells a story and the adventure flows beyond imagination!. #TunzaMitoBoreshaMaisha #JourneyOfWater2025 #Voices4Rivers

This is a clear case of #ecocide and signals the beginning of biodiversity collapse in the Aberdares. Destroying 185 acres of bamboo undermines vital ecosystems, displaces species, and weakens climate resilience. Development must not come at the cost of ecological #survival.

The countdown is on, only 6 days left! Are you ready to make it count?. #JourneyofWater2025 #Voices4Water #RiverKimengeliaNoolturesh

The countdown is on – just 7 days to go! Join us on the Journey of Water along the River Kimengelia–Noolturesh, a one-of-a-kind transboundary campaign that celebrates Rivers as a #unifying force beyond #borders. #Voices4Rivers #JourneyOfWater2025 #WaterForPeace

This isn’t just Kenya’s story, it’s a Global wake up call. Citizen science is redefining water stewardship. Youth are acting, no funding, no permission just purpose. It’s time for #Govts & #Donors to meet them halfway. Recognition isn’t charity it’s justice. #SDG6 #WaterJustice
Yesterday, we hosted citizen scientists & WRUA reps from Kirichwa & Mbagathi in Nairobi. Youth are monitoring water quality to close SDG 6.3.2 data gaps voluntarily, passionately, & without pay. We must equip & support them. Who will stand with them? #WaterStewardship

Rainforests are vital life support systems #breathing for us, #sheltering biodiversity & #powering economies. In Kenya, @KeNAWRUA & WRUAs are leading a people-driven model to protect forests & water towers. When COMMUNITIES #Lead, NATURE #Thrives. #WaterResourcesProtection

Inclusion isn't optional — it's essential. In co-design, co-creation, and every project phase (planning ➡️ validation ➡️ implementation ➡️ monitoring), leave no one behind. Diverse voices = better outcomes. Equity is the foundation of impact. #Inclusion #LeaveNoOneBehind
Today as we celebrate World Environment Day 2025 with the Theme: “Beat Plastic Pollution”, We join voices across the GLOBE to shine a light on a silent crisis, plastic pollution. Today is a reminder of our incredible capacity to RESTORE, to ACT, and to HEAL. #EnvironmentDay2025
