KCR Cap

Recovering buysider. Permabull, natural skeptic, opportunistically short. Not investment advice.
Seems like $CLBT is delaying the inevitable. Back 1/2 weighted guide feels at risk since they assume Fed budget unlock. Odd that they haven't been able to hire a permanent CEO. If anyone has thoughts on the elongated CEO search, DM's are open. x.com/KcrCap/status/…
Re-upping post below in light of comments on Q4 CC. Does anyone have data on budgetary tailwinds for $CLBT over the last few yrs & whether this will turn into a risk going fwd? Any commentary from $AXON or $MSI that provide support one way or the other? x.com/KcrCap/status/…
Re-upping this $NEOG post. Is this business just too diversified and complex to manage after the 3M acquisition? Just brutal results quarter after quarter x.com/KcrCap/status/…
Is the $NEOG/3M deal one of the worst acquisitions of all time? NEOG's multiple likely benefited from an M&A premium for a number of years, they eviscerated it by announcing that they were actually a large buyer instead of seller. investors.3m.com/news/news-deta…
"I think that in early 2013, when we started the company, unfortunately, we called it machine learning and not AI back then, but basically the same thing."
I can't find anything that corroborates these stats from the $CSGP Q2 call, but if they are accurate, this is very good news for $AIF CN

Has anyone seen a good analysis of the economics/IRR on AI data centers? Oracle has released some decent info on their Abilene project w/ OpenAI, but I'm not in the weeds on how all of this is financed and margin profile once it's operating. DMs open if you have a good report
I know facts don't matter in this tariff discussion, but here is a concrete example of why companies aren't manufacturing in the US. This comment is discussing manufacturing of firefighter protective suits. Call on 4/9/25. $LAKE

I'm not close to $SNX, but is this a canary in the coal mine for hyperscaler data center spend? $META is their original customer. One of $GOOG, $MSFT or $AMZN is likely the second customer. Just sounds eerily similar to most cycles w/ pre-buys and pushing out of deployments
