Hollywood or Home, a Sunday Times Poetry Book of the Year, out now from @SerenBooks. Co-florist @BadLilies. Aspiring Final Girl.
Some personal news: @SerenBooks will publish my second full collection in 2023! It’s only taken me almost twenty years. To anyone doing battle with self-doubt and block, take heart: things can and do begin again. And as our great boy Rilke had it: No feeling is final.
A huge honour to have my poem ‘Bournemouth’ included in such a wonderful, important anthology, alongside so many terrific poets and poems. Very special. Immense gratitude to Rachael Boast and @BloodaxeBooks.
Now on our Vimeo: a new compilation video for our Versus Versus anthology, featuring 23 of the contributing poets reading their work: vimeo.com/1102502312 Versus Versus: 100 Poems by Deaf, Disabled & Neurodivergent Poets, edited by Rachael Boast - bloodaxebooks.com/ecs/product/ve…
There’s still time to join me in some rather strange poetic territory this saturday morning … northseapoets.com/events/the-rhy…
Posting this exemplary poem by an exemplary poet, Kona Macphee, is something I love to do every few years or so. The smallness of it—but the immensity. Utterly beautiful poem-making.

Grateful to have two poems from my forthcoming collection in the latest @BadLilies issue. It’s such a great UK mag. Thanks @neilsonandrew and @KathrynGray! Such a wonderful issue. badlilies.uk/issue-twenty-1
What a treat that the new Bad Lilies is out - badlilies.uk/issues. You can always trust @KathrynGray and @neilsonandrew to have a top selection. Especially enjoyed seeing more poems by @donovanmcabee @jobratten @sarahwestcott1 and @GreeningPoet. Lovely work.
Maybe the biggest grift is the very nature of the memoir genre these days.
Another beautiful issue of Bad Lilies has bloomed - breathe in these ‘Long-limbed darlings’ 🌷
The latest issue of @BadLilies is here! We’ve come of age—21!—so very far from a conversation on a sofa in COVID times. That’s community. Enjoy the issue—free, made by poets, for readers, curated with love. badlilies.uk/issue-twenty-1
Just been to see F1. It has more film tropes packed into it than I have seen in many a long year, and Brad Pitt looks fabulous in a racing suit. In short: it’s fantastic.
