There’s a big disconnect with the public about who funds our healthcare. When one says Canada has free healthcare, this is wrong. Taxpayers fund healthcare in Canada. Actually, taxpayers fund every social program that the government funds.
We pay the highest taxes in the world. Healthcare is not free. It’s the illusion of free.
