Conversations need to start happening around how the Chicago Sky roster is constructed @KarliBell33 breaks it all down in this week’s episode: youtu.be/Iq0R5nyHIXs?si…
Marsh: "After that 1Q, we struggled to get anything easy and that put pressure on our defense at times. We knew the pressure they were going to bring and we didn't handle it very well today."
Marsh: "Ariel gives us a sense of athleticism and downhill capabilities that we certainly miss. It's times throughout the game that we need to show the poise and fight when things start to slip away."
Marsh: "I thought Maddy competed really well today. I think [the rookies] have adjusted as well as they could've. The progress can't all be gaged in 1-2 games. I think they've had solid rookie seasons thus far."
Marsh: "Things started to slip away from us in that 2Q. That end of the first half and the start of the second half put us deep in a hole that was hard to get out of."
Nurse: "What I love about Tyler is he's honest. He's one of those guys that you want to play for."
Nurse on Westbeld: "I love our rookies. Maddy and HVL both have an incredible work ethic. Maddy is a workhorse. I'm not surprised that she makes the impact that she does when she comes into the game."
Westbeld: "When we get stagnant is when we really turn the ball over a lot."
Nurse: "Ariel does a lot for us on both ends of the floor. It's on all of us. No one can step up and do what she does but we need to step and raise our game up a little bit."
Westbeld: "Our inside presence is very versatile and so is theirs. Also Angel & Phee are point forwards that control the game."
Nurse: "We can match their physicality. Inside, we have great bigs that can use that physicality to their strengths. Putting pressure on the rim is something we do really well."
Nurse: "1Q, we did a good job of attacking their pressure. We got a little bit get stagnant in the bottom half of the 2Q. Defensively, we had some miscues that are fixable by us."
The Sky's 23 turnovers are the most turnovers since June 17 where they had 25 turnovers against the Washington Mystics.

Also, Angel Reese has a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds thus far
I'm intrigued to see how Marquesha Davis will fit into the Sky's system. Her physicality and willingness to go downhill will be beneficial for their offense. She's real pesky defensively too.
