John 15:2- "He cuts off every branch... that bears no fruit. While every branch that does bear fruit he prunes..." The deeper you grow in faith, the quieter you become. You stop proving. You start pruning. Real spiritual growth doesn’t seek applause. It seeks alignment.
If your phone had 3% battery, you'd panic. Your soul has been running on fumes for months. Charge it. With Prayer. Silence. Obedience. Most spiritual dryness isn't about the devil. It’s you refusing to feed your soul.
Most Ugandans only pray when broke, sick, or dumped. So when life feels okay, they say “God is silent.” But even when God is quiet, He's watching. Elijah heard Him in stillness, not storms. Your ears are too full of TikTok.
You think “leaving something for your kids” means land and cows? Cool. But your name is either a gate or a curse. Ask Gehazi’s kids; man stole blessings and passed down leprosy. Your choices echo louder than your wallet.
Matthew 15:8- “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." Christians love fasting but hate accountability. You pray for open doors but won’t shut the one to your toxic habits. Growth isn’t loud. It’s repentance in private.
You thought they’d always be around. Then, one day, they weren’t. You wanted one more hug. They gave you a funeral. They're gone for good. Now, the silence is loud. The bed feels wide. Sleep, with your memories. Their story in you still breathes. GOODNIGHT.
When a noble person walks away from your toxic ways, they've got no reverse gear. Something in them shifts. They move on gracefully and much lighter without you.
Discernment gives you a spiritual eye to see everything hidden without searching or asking a single question. You'll know who talked to you and about what. You'll see them a mile away.
I prefer rejection over confusion. Reject me loud and clear so I can know where I stand. It won't decrease my self-love or worth, I've been alive long enough by now to know I love me for sure. I vibe with me... ~ Collins Timbela
The greatest strength is silent. Like the lady who cleans offices while bosses snore. She carries a family on her back without complaining online. Meanwhile, you post "soft life" quotes and still ask for transport from her taxes. Respect her grind.
Our youth don’t fail because they don’t try. They fail because no one taught them how to think. School gave them grades. Church gave them fear. Home gave them trauma. And now you wonder why they're building nothing.
If @mtnug did a usage audit, they'd find you spent more on TikTok noise than skill-building. Same data, different mindsets: One guy sells wigs online. The other one is deep in gossip threads about @SheilahGashumba
Your girlfriend left you for a guy who leads, speaks, and solves. Not because he’s richer. But because he commands presence. The same reason HR keeps ignoring you. Soft skills matter. Fix that energy before you beg for another chance.
Let's pray: Lord, keep me from things that look sweet but kill me. From pleasure that distracts. Friends that drain. Gigs that blind me. If it’s not from You, remove it, quietly or violently. Amen. GOOD MORNING.
You always show up. But when it’s your turn to need; silence. They only call you when they’re down or broke. You’re not a friend to them. You’re a free service. Sleep knowing distance is peace. Not everyone deserves access to you. GOODNIGHT.
You want to be called a man? Start carrying weight without begging for applause. Manhood is pressure. If you need motivation every week, you're not ready.
You grew up without a dad. Now you're trying to raise a son with no blueprint. And no one claps for that. But listen, every hug you give your child is an act of rebellion. You’re breaking the chain, one small choice at a time.
The worst lie? Telling yourself you’ll start freelancing when life “calms down.” Ugandan life doesn’t calm down. There’s always a funeral, a wedding, or a riot. Start anyway. Your chaos is your training ground.
