Some are speculating that this track may be the An-124 that was seen near Kyiv and landed in Leipzig. It is almost certainly not. It is most likely a drone of some sort. Around 100 kt at 6,000 ft is quite slow for an An-124. Plus it would be a huge SAM target near Dnipro.
UnID UAV w/invalid transponder code #001072 & callsign PTNPNH2 up over Ukraine. H/T to @Sfaisalafridi @sipjack1776 @thebaldgeek
Since the invasion, these aircraft have not only been a workhorse for transporting military aid to Ukraine, but also have been essential for global civilian/military heavy cargo shipments. The An-124 are used to ship humanitarian aid, industrial equipment, and Boeing KC-46 wings
Since the beginning of the war, Ukraine has been operating five Antonov An-124 out of Liepzig. Two were damaged/grounded following the Battle of Hostomel Airport in 2022. It looks like Ukraine has restored a sixth to flight operations.

It appears that an Anotonov AN-124, UR-82073, has escaped from Ukraine to Liepzig, Germany after being stranded for over 4 years. The last flight I can find for this aircraft was 13 March 2021 when it landed in Kyiv.

Hey @PenguinSix, any word if the new flag poles at the White House affect flight operations for HMX-1?

Noting that these look to be AMC logistics/ferry flights and most likely are not dragging tankers
Lots of fuel going up. Increasing every few minutes. 20-21 tankers as of now. Will also note that 7 tankers that had been station in the Middle East did depart today for Europe and a few the previous days. So there is some rotation going on. But that doesn’t explain all this
It is not every day you get to control an MQ-1C sensor ball #Army250

Hey @NWS, @NWStornado, @NWS_BaltWash @NOAA why didn't I get a warning sent to my phone for the two tornado warnings that passed over me in the North DMV?
