Year 5 were busy up at our dipping ponds today, consolidating their learning about life cycles and the metamorphosis of amphibians.


The Junior School Sustainability Committee led assembly today to share their findings from our impact surveys on recycling and Smarter Travel Week. Well done to everyone who won awards for sustainable travel or for fantastic poster designs.

Year 5 were fantastic at their ‘Conscience Alley’ drama lesson today, sparking lots of conversation about a tricky problem for our protagonist, Michael, in our novel, Kensuke’s Kingdom. #KesBathJnrEnglish

Year 6 did some wonderful drama today, creating tableau to match with scenes from VE Day. This one cleverly shows some contrasting emotions of that day, 80 years ago.

Hands-on STEM learning at the Junior School this term, as Year 5 learn about life cycles with the help of our resident ducklings who they have watched hatch and grow. The trio will leave us shortly to live on Mr Innes' smallholding.

With the support of @minifirstaiduk Year 5 learnt valuable first-aid skills yesterday, including how to perform CPR, placing someone in the recovery position and how to manage choking.
