Little couplet north of Chapleau. Intense storms overnight from Dryden/Ignace through Thunder Bay, crossing Lake Superior and the north shore. Likely lots of damage in remote forests from downbursts/microbursts and probably a few embedded tornadoes.

Although EC dropped the ball with the inland tornado warning...I give them full credit for the advanced warning for the lakeshore regions. Marine warning was issued at 6:15pm, alerting coastal residents between Bayfield and Goderich; tornado dealt damage around 7pm. #onwx
