One year later, after close follow-up with EGDs every 3 months, the patient is still cancer-free. Calling the patient a few days after each EGD to say that control biopsies were negative, has been a real joy.

I don't know exactly what's in this bill, but in general, I am very supportive of physician-owned hospitals. In my limited experience (and as far as I know, general data), they have better patient outcomes and lower costs. So, I welcome any effort to encourage this.
