Proud to stand with Fenway workers. Ownership must meet their demands and deliver the fair contract they deserve.
I stand with the hardworking people of Boston in opposing any rollout of autonomous vehicles that threatens to displace good union jobs. As Mayor, I’ll always prioritize protecting Boston’s workforce and will proudly stand with Teamsters Local 25, ADU, IAM, UFCW 1445, and SEIU…
The only numbers that count are votes. The momentum we’ve been steadily building across the city will speak for itself on September 9. I got into this race to offer a real alternative to a mayor many Bostonians feel let down by. I’ll keep showing up, listening, and fighting for…
I will form a commission to examine what areas of city government could benefit from hiring formerly incarcerated people who have demonstrably turned their lives around. Formerly incarcerated people can be powerful advocates for deterrence and mentors for their communities.
Mayor Wu shut down Operation exit. This is a mistake we will correct. Under my administration, we will restate and re-energize Operation Exit, providing formerly incarcerated Bostonians with stable career pathways in the trades and culinary arts. They deserve real…
Reentry will begin before release in my administration. We’ll launch a comprehensive 90-day Reentry Plan where inmates attend workshops on housing options, financial literacy, family reconnection, and job training long before they walk out the door.
Today at Iron Workers Local, I shared my plan to make Boston a national model for supporting people coming home from prison. Our plan ensures returning citizens get the housing, job training, mental health resources, and critical services needed for a strong foundation to…
Appreciate the Boston Globe for publishing a thorough and balanced fact check of the mayoral race. In a campaign season where claims can outpace truth, transparency matters. We welcome scrutiny, and we remain focused on running a campaign grounded in facts and accountability.…
Today, I heard from a large # of city workers justifiably angry that they won’t receive their paychecks on time. These include first responders & many others who’ll be working over the holiday weekend to keep our city safe and clean. It’s an unacceptable management failure to not…
Another example of management failures at City Hall.
A Boston City Hall employee who was arrested on felony assault charges in April is on unpaid leave but still employed by the city months later, city officials confirmed. trib.al/7O8EJrN
We need to step up enforcement to make our city safe. My plan makes it clear: public drug use, indefinite street living, and property crimes are no longer an option. We will use the judicial system to steer people into treatment.
There is nothing compassionate about leaving people perpetually stuck in the grip of addiction. Mayor Wu’s consequence-free approach is heartbreaking and demonstrably isn't working for our communities.
This is a neighborhood emergency. Yet, when residents call 911 for police enforcement, they get blown off. This is because Mayor Wu has deliberately chosen to deemphasize the need to enforce state laws.
Mayor Wu keeps claiming her plan is "working great" and Boston is "the safest city in America". But just last week, her own Public Health Commissioner starkly admitted: "I think we have failed in terms of the drug use epidemic."
Today, I stood with community leaders and advocates in Boston's South End to directly confront Mayor Wu's catastrophic management failures at Mass & Cass. The humanitarian crisis and pervasive public disorder are spiraling out of control, spreading into our neighborhoods.
