No-brainer deal. @RickieFowler posts on Instagram that he’s now an official ambassador for @YETICoolers
Yes. Streaming fairly minimal, but in this case it helps NBC get over the 4M mark.
Good stuff, Josh. Of that ~4 million, I’m seeing 3.8 million on NBC (traditional Linear) so the ~0.2 million or so comes from the streaming.
NBC draws a little more than 4 million viewers for Scottie Scheffler’s dominant win at Portrush on Sunday (streaming included). That’s up big from 3.390M last year (Schauffele) and the best since 2022 at St Andrews

Ian Baker-Finch today announced his retirement from broadcasting golf after an incredible 30-year run, the past 19 with CBS Sports. Baker-Finch will work CBS Sports’ final two tournaments of the Network’s 2025 season, with his last broadcast coming at the Wyndham Championship…
As @SBJ reported last month, LIV Golf today confirmed its Australia event for 2026 that will be contested Feb. 13-15. Same week as AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on PGAT
We’re on to the @rydercup. Here’s a sampling of what Bethpage Black will look like

A great reminder how fleeting success in golf can be. I don’t think Scottie will go 11 years before bagging another big one. But I also thought Rory and Jordan would win 8+ majors each.
Amazing graphic here. Wow.
I’m not sure we’re there yet, but I think it’s getting close to a point where people watch because of Scottie, a la Tiger back in the day. Even if he has a big lead.
Viewership for the final round of @TheOpen going back 20 years. Where does tomorrow land?

. @NBCSports says its Thursday/Friday coverage of @TheOpen averaged more than 1 million viewers across USA and NBC Sports Digital, its best since 2022. Friday (1.2M average) was up 37% over 2024 and the best since 2022.

That Rory eagle was incredible. Great theater. But it sorta feels like this with the way Scottie is balling right now

Good visualization for golf instructors when they say to hit down and through the ball. Incredible.
Was having a hard time remembering two better days of major championship golf than what we’ve seen at Portrush. And then I remembered Saturday and Sunday at Augusta this year. Masters and Open have just elevated so much above all others
Sounded like that bat in the NBC booth made its way to @SmylieKaufman10
