Despite opinions on reform, this was a genuine issue around Leicestershire. Earlier this year saw the worst flooding around my area I’ve ever seen so to see something actually being done about it is a relief

📢 South Cambs now on a 4 day week… paid by those working 5! 👎🏼 Never in Leicestershire. Under @reformparty_uk leadership, we believe in hard work, value for money, and public service that serves the public, not the staffroom.
South Cambridgeshire Council employees will now only work 4 days a week. Their salaries paid largely by those working 5 days a week. The Lib Dem run council said a trial found “services remained stable”. I bet moving half the staff to 0 days a week would deliver the same.
