So proud of this #chemistry #research in @NatureComms from my group @RiceChemistry solving a 20 year puzzle on the identity of seeds used in Au #nano particle syntheses. They’re Au32 nanoclusters! Great collaboration with @andredjone and @EveryWhereChem! disq.us/t/4hsbgu9
Latest #Nano #Chemistry from my group @ChemistryRice and a great collaboration with @han_yimo from @RiceMSNE: Preserving surface strain in nanocatalysts via morphology control | Science Advances science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
Hey check out this adorable little caterpillar I found on the inside lid of the @sweetgreen salad I just picked up! I guess a little extra protein is what we can expect from them now…
I’m shocked to see that for once @CHADNANO isn’t the tallest person on the stage! Congrats to him and my postdoc advisor @PaulAlivisatos for this richly deserved honor. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Exciting to see Chad Mirkin (@chadnano), The Titan of the Tiny, being honored during #KavliPrizeWeek2024! Celebrating innovation, collaboration, and groundbreaking research in #Nanotechnology. #KavliPrize
I’m hiring postdocs to develop inorganic catalyst #nano particles for a plasma flow reactor! Wild project with new #chemistry to explore and huge possibilities for green energy. Please apply at the link below and share with your colleagues #ChemTwitter ! linkedin.com/posts/tanguy-t…
So great to see this news and just before the big Mirkin group reunion this summer! Congrats to @CHADNANO for this richly deserved honor!
We are thrilled to share some fantastic news with you. Professor Chad Mirkin (@CHADNANO), Director of the International Institute for Nanotechnology, has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Kavli Prize in Nanoscience!
So happy to share the great news that I’ve been granted tenure @RiceUniversity @RiceChemistry @ChemistryRice! Huge thanks to all the supportive colleagues and friends but especially the talented grad students and postdocs who did all the hard work!

I graduated 5 PhD students this past weekend, 2 of whom were there with me on day 1 unpacking equipment and supplies to start the Jones Lab @RiceChemistry @RiceNatSci! Congrats to David, Rachael, Arzeena, Theo, and Carrie (Zhi) for all their hard work and great #nano science!

For any #UndergradInTheLab getting ready to visit grad programs over the next few months who feel unprepared or unsure what to say and do, FACETS members from @RiceChemGrad have information that can help. Reach out to me if you are interested!
Great celebration and reunion at the Welch Conference! @AizenbergLab @CassiCallmann @JonesMattRob @LandesChristy @profglotz

Check out the press release about our latest #chem #nano work on Au32 clusters being the “seed” in anisotropic nanoparticle syntheses. It was recently selected as an Editor’s Highlight in @NatureComms as well! news.rice.edu/news/2023/gold… nature.com/collections/wt…
So some friends of ours came back from a month in India and brought back this snack. I’m 99% sure the tag line is supposed to be “the taste OF THE people” but that remaining 1% is making me wonder if I’m an accidental cannibal…

Congratulations to Prof. Raúl Hernández Sánchez for being named one of C&EN’s 2023 Talented 12 cohort for his research in inorganic and supramolecular chemistry! news.rice.edu/news/2023/rice…
