You know what’s really insane, Chris? Our representatives in government take nearly HALF our earned income and fight to give it to people who don’t pay anything into Social Security.
It's insane that people who make tens of millions a year (even billions!) pay the same amount into Social Security as someone who makes $176,000. Our country could easily keep its promises and fund Social Security for generations if we unrigged the system and fixed this.
