UV Flow is out of beta, by the way. I'm pretty happy with how the featured render turned out. I had been working on a sweet release trailer and tutorial but had to pause that to focus on Retopoflow 4 for now. I will be back at it in a few weeks! blendermarket.com/products/uv-fl…

It's here! Gleb does an amazing job breaking down how to get great colors out of your renders without leaving the 3D View. It was an honor to collaborate and his feedback while making the course helped improve the add-on. Check it out!
Free mini-course. Color grading with Render Raw in Blender.
One thing that was just added to the release notes for 4.5 that I missed in the video was Grid Fill can now replace selected faces. So good!! Thanks to Jason Wenger who has been working on modeling tools recently.

Hey everyone, What's New in Blender 4.5 LTS! Official Overview is live! I'm talking about the Eevee/viewport changes in Blender 4.5 in this video, and @AidyBurrows3D owned the compositor module overview! Thanks to @JonLampel for the opportunity! youtube.com/watch?v=wPhA0i… #b3d
A video that is now in works is gonna be about color grading with Render Raw 👈. p.s. have you used Render Raw btw?
The next version of Render Raw will support custom view transforms, including all of the ones in Pixel Manager like the original AgX, Resolve's AgX, Unreal Engine's, and the camera transforms from ARRI, RED, Canon, and Sony. Pixel Manager is free BTW: github.com/Joegenco/Pixel…

Here's modeling challenge #4! Any attempt is encouraged and I'll do my best to give feedback. Guidelines: Quote reply your solution with both smoothed and wireframe screenshots. Subdiv modeling is preferred. Next week, I'll post my solution 😁
Having so many useful functions that all share a common and immediately intuitive UI without conflicting is just fantastic tool design. Looks great!
Align Objects Like a Pro in #Blender using new #ZenCage #addon 🧲
Rant: Addon developers must stop throwing every addon's UI into the N-Panel. Blender has logical places for most things! #b3d
The next version of Render Raw will let you do perceptual brightness preserving hue shifts using the LAB color model.
Working on something that involves color grading and Render Raw add-on - and cacodemons. #b3d
Here's a proposal for aligning the UI in Blender's 3D View, since it's been driving me a bit crazy with the Asset Shelf also in the mix. Vote it up or comment what could be better! blender.community/c/rightclickse… Before and After:

Hate to say it, but Y up makes more sense than Z up. Z is up if you're drawing on a piece of paper on a table, which is great for drafting and CAD. But in entertainment, the camera is the 'paper' you're drawing to and it's almost never pointed down, virtually or on a screen
Indeed Unreal Engine is moving to Left-Up-Forward coordinates everywhere, starting with UEFN, and coming to UE5-6 in an incrementally-adoptable way through UI settings and C++ helper functions/macros to ease the transition. This will align Unreal with Y-Up, right handed…
