Easy to blame media for this (and it’s deserved), but the fans are the real problem. They demand 24/7 content about the “battle” for the backup practice squad tight end spot and media responds in-kind by gassing up the backup practice squad tight end w/ ridiculous puff pieces.
My favorite part of the NFL season is taking place right now "(insert player name) looks great so far in camp and is poised for a breakout this year." We'll call this the optimism and hopium portion of the schedule

If you're thinking about using GPT for analysis, one stat that *very* much helps with roster construction is percentage of made baskets assisted by someone else. Awesome stat for discerning role allocation and figuring out who will/won't scale at different conference levels.
150th in Torvik right now after finishing last season 300th. That's a hell of a leap for a grab bag of random players w/ almost no roster continuity and a coach who finished 250th two years ago w/ several high-major players. More than sufficient attention is being paid.
We as a country are not talking enough about how great of a transfer portal class the San Diego Toreros have assembled along with bringing back its top scorer from a season ago. Ty-Laur Johnson was an ACC starting PG at two schools. Bradley Ezewiro has impressed at many schools
