We ended up having quite a lot of rain yesterday in Newmarket but today is sunny and warming up nicely. Currently 21 degrees, forecast high 25. Very pleasant.

I knew we’d miss the hot, sunny weather once it had gone! We started overcast this morning in Newmarket and then rain moved in after 9.00. Still warm but less so than it’s been. 18 degrees but feels colder in the rain. Likely to be dry & much warmer again tomorrow.

Good finally to find some soft ground for @STandARPartners’ #SolarSaving. He was beaten a fair way in finishing fourth @CatterickRaces but we should be able to find races weaker than today’s. The winner @HeathHouseNkt’s Golden Horn filly Bosphorous Rose looks very smart.

A bit of sun today in Newmarket, a bit of cloud. Breezy. Warm. Currently 19 degrees, forecast high 22. A tint of green has appeared in the previously brown grass after the weekend’s rain.

We had a fair bit of rain in Newmarket over the weekend, mostly Saturday afternoon plus a bit more on Sunday. Drizzled off & on this morning but it’s brightening up this afternoon. Still very warm, currently 18 degrees.
